Crack Open the Possibilities- Entry Level Automation Technician!!

Primary Job Duties:

Our Automation Department is responsible on working on designing, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all electronic components of production, processing and barn equipment. As an Entry Level Automation Technician, you will be responsible to working and training on all levels of the department’s responsibilities. Technicians will be trained to be able to troubleshoot various automated production equipment.

This position requires basic knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, and electronic applications. Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• PLC or PC Programming experience.
• Experience in reading blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Opening and editing some kind of Computer aided design (Autocad)
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• 
  Candidates must have strong retention skills and ability to quickly absorb information.
• Ability and willingness to assist in troubleshoot and repair equipment, motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, electronic measuring sensors (RTDs, Humidity, level, and pressure), temperature instrumentation, packaging machines and conveyors, electronic scales, programmable logic controllers, etc.
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control and safety circuits using electrical schematics and electronic test equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve processes, efficiency, quality and service.
