Spur Environmental Services is currently seeking an Environmental Technician who is motivated and team oriented. This is a labor intensive and safety-oriented position that operates under the direction of the Project Manager.

Position Requirements:

• Must be Safety and Team Oriented
• Experience with (some or all): oil/gas, construction or environmental industries, pressure washing, vacuum trucks, waste handling, confined space and/or equipment operating.
• Due to the diversity of both scheduled and non-scheduled remediation’s and emergency response projects, physical demands, and environmental conditions vary significantly depending on the project. May work in environments that are extreme in nature such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours, etc. May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds or more.
• Promote teamwork
• Travel Required (up to 50%)

Working Conditions:

Work at Customer site (Oil /Gas, Manufacturing, Field/remote, Roadway, Plants, etc.)/Work at Employer Facility/ On Call 24-7 shifts / Due to emergency or workload demands, subject to extended work hours requiring stamina beyond normal demands or levels.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Related Experience:

• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Able to perform under a Respiratory Protection Program
• Weekend On-call availability (rotating schedule)
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search and all post-employment verifications.
