Job Description: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Role and Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment in Stack Manufacturing in accordance with technical publications and schematics.
· Perform machine installations or modifications IAW publications.
· Execute and track preventive maintenance activities.
· Evaluate equipment and inform team leader of issues or needed repairs.
· Suggest improvements for the toolset.
· Help implement upgrades to machines.
· Adhere to and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Assist with manufacturing when required.
· Support equipment testing group.
· Ensure proper LOTO compliance.
Skills and Experience:
· 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Technical certification or equivalent experience preferred.
· Previous military technical experience in aviation, electronics, ordnance, automotive maintenance, equipment engineering, or relevant MOS preferred.
· Experience with Automated Equipment preferred.
· Is punctual, pays attention to detail, and possesses a strong sense of integrity.
· Goal-oriented and a self-starter; ability to operate at a high standard with minimal oversight.
· Strong interpersonal skills, and an effective communicator who leads by example.
· Willingness to assume greater organizational responsibility.
· Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Must have computer skills, minimum Microsoft office.
· Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with PC-based testing equipment is preferred.
· Excellent hand and eye coordination are needed.
· Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $44.00 per hour
