At Ideal Landscaping & Irrigation, we have been proudly providing high-quality lawn and landscaping solutions to the Greensboro, NC, area for over 23 years. To keep up with the increasing demands of our customers, we are growing our team! We are searching for an Equipment Manager & Small Engine Mechanic.
Our office is located in Kernersville, North Carolina. All applicants must live in Kernersville or a nearby area such as Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, Oakridge, or Walkertown.
Equipment Manager & Small Engine Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on equipment as well as make minor repairs
- Maintain relationships with our equipment vendors to ensure timely repairs for outsourced items
- Train teams for proper field repairs and diagnostics
- Support crews to ensure they can provide safe, quality service to our clients
- Communicate with leadership on best practices, and necessary adjustments to best manage our growing fleet
What does it take to be the ideal candidate?
- Experience with equipment repair and small engine repair
- Technical and mechanical skills
- Be able to communicate with employees clearly
- Have reliable transportation to and from our office in Kernersville, NC
Pay:
- Total compensation: $22 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
