The Public Works department for the City of Russellville is seeking to fill the following positions:

General Overview: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Heavy Equipment for the Public Works department. This position operates dozers, backhoes, loaders and other equipment. Responsible for operating heavy equipment in leveling and excavating work for the completion of street department projects. Operates a variety of other special and standard equipment as assigned. Services equipment and makes field adjustments and repairs as necessary. Performs manual labor as necessary. Must be proficient in the use of dozer, backhoe, grader, loader, sweeper, bucket truck, roller, tractor, dump truck, chain saw and chipper. Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area. Must be able to work outside.
High school diploma, valid Arkansas driver’s license and 2 years related experience and/or training required.
Annually $29,781 to $31,217 Depending on experience.
