We specialize in renting and selling innovative highway safety equipment across the country. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Service Technician in our Rockdale, IL location.

The ideal Equipment Service Technician candidate will be mechanically inclined and have prior experience with one or many of the following: machining, welding, engines, low voltage electronics, solar-power and/or soldering.

The ideal Equipment Service Technician candidate must have:

• The ability to work 40 hours per week (overtime often possible)
• Candidate must have a basic understanding of shop tools and equipment
• Requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license
• Able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Must be able and willing to travel overnight on occasion for 1-4 nights as needed; out of state travel could be several days per month
• Must be able to easily climb ladders and dead lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience in any of these areas is a plus:

• Forklift operation
• Basic understanding of computers
• Communication and organizational skills
• Warehouse/ manufacturing experience
• Engineering experience
• Any shop experience (machining, welding, and manufacturing)
• Basic understanding of electronics and 12-volt circuits

Key Responsibilities:

Position is full time with standard business hours. Position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

• Repairing traffic safety equipment
• Delivering traffic safety equipment
• General organization and maintenance of shop/yard
• Shipping / receiving parts and equipment
• Interacting with customers
• Other duties as assigned
