ER Tech Job at Myrtue Medical Center
Emergency Department. One part-time position (16-20 hours per week). Works every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 11:00am to 11:00pm OR 11:00pm to 7:00am. Four on-call positions (6-12 hours per week); schedule varies – works 7:00am to 7:00pm OR 7:00pm to 7:00am. Assists the Professional Nursing staff and ED medical practitioners in providing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Is responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment for the area. Performs EKGs. Functions under the direct supervision of an RN. Reports to the ED Nurse Manger. Completion of approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course and/or successful completion of Nursing Assistant certification written and skills tests or completion of one year of an approved practical nurse program or professional nurse program required.
