NexGen Data Systems is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) Administrator to provide support in a Data Center environment. The ESS Administrator will coordinate with System Owners and other relevant commands for acquisition and analysis of ESS data and to ensure ESS is fully deployed. Provide technical subject matter expertise on ESS, configuration and baseline management. Candidates should have experience with hardening and maintaining security posture of Windows and UNIX environments utilizing DoD approved tools to include McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Rogue System Detection (RSD), Policy Auditor (PA), and McAfee Application Control (MAC).

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Configuring systems to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) standards
• Create custom queries and reports using ePO
• Maintaining and administering the Enterprise computing systems to meet the DoD mandated security requirements and directives
• Utilize Service Now ticket software
• Monitor and analyze ePO dashboards for events and alerts
• Create maintenance windows via manual tagging or automated server task
• Conduct point product repair
• Generate compliance reports and deliver to customer
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and remediation
• Create and edit team SOP’s
• Apply necessary patches and security updates to the ESS server
• Configure policies, client tasks, and assignments
• Create customer advisories and coordinate new product installation and upgrades
• Analyze malware detections and notify ISSM for any required incident response

Desired/Required Skills:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics; or a minimum of four years direct experience
• Secret clearance or higher preferred (Must be able to achieve T5)
• 8570 compliance at IAT Level II at start date (Active Security and OS certifications)
• System administration experience on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux, and Solaris
• Experience configuring systems to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) standards
• Experience with Service Now preferred
• Experience with virtual platforms necessary
• Experience supporting production environments preferred
• Experience with Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) architectures preferred
