Ryan is a family owned and operated large scale sitework contractor with offices in Miami, Deerfield Beach and Stuart, Florida. This fifth generation company has built the Ryan foundation in the Civil / Sitework / Heavy Highway Industry exceeding our client’s expectation by providing them with full earthwork, underground utilities, heavy highway paving, Land Development and Infrastructure Civil engineering projects throughout South East Florida.

We are seeking a full-time estimating assistant to join our estimating team in both our Miami, Deerfield Beach and Stuart offices.

Experience Requirements:

The person must be able to review civil drawings and specifications for a wide range of public and commercial projects.

• An industry related college degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating civil scope of work.
• Must be able to review and understand civil drawings and specifications for private, public and commercial projects.

· Experience in assisting the estimating department in preparing complete estimates that include material, labor and equipment.

· Ability to scope our vendors and subcontractors.

• Knowledge of HCSS (Heavy Bid Software) is a preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of AGTEK or PAYDIRT Software is preferred but not required.
• Good work ethic, verbal and written communication skills is a must.
• Must be a fit with our Core Values.
