Position Summary

The Print Estimator will be responsible for producing accurate and timely estimates for print jobs. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the print industry, including various substrates, bindery and finishing techniques, and must be able to read and interpret job specifications to provide accurate estimates. This role will involve working closely with the Sales and Production teams to ensure that projects are quoted correctly, on time, and within budget.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Evaluate job specifications and prepare detailed estimates for print jobs.

· Analyze and calculate material, labor, and production costs.

· Work closely with Sales and Production teams to provide accurate and timely estimates using EFI Pace Software.

· Identify cost savings opportunities and suggest alternative solutions to clients.

· Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and related documents.

· Continuously update and improve estimating processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Education, Experience & Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Print Estimator or similar role in the printing industry.

· In-depth knowledge of print production processes, substrates, bindery, and finishing techniques.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

· Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,584.00 - $60,876.00 per year
