Responsibilities:

The Compliance Specialist assists the General Counsel and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in the design, development, implementation and oversight of the Noblis Ethics and Compliance Program.

Job Description

  • Assist the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in the day to day management and implementation of the Noblis ethics and compliance program including developing programs for training, communicating, implementing and monitoring all aspects of the Ethics and Compliance Program.
  • Support compliance and ethics education, awareness, outreach, and communication throughout Noblis and its subsidiaries including Annual Code of Conduct Training.
  • Provide input to the development of corporate policy related to ethics and compliance issues.
  • Investigate matters of alleged misconduct and violations of the Noblis’ Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Monitor the Ethics Helpline and the timely response, resolution and tracking of reports.
  • Manage the company’s Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) and Personal Conflicts of Interest (PCI) vetting process; provide advice on ethics related issues arising under Government Contracts.
  • Review and advise on ethics issues relating to the hiring of former government employees.
  • Work on cross-functional teams and directly with compliance owners to conduct the annual risk assessment and design, develop, implement and monitor risk-specific compliance programs in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess compliance program maturity and effectiveness.
  • Design and implement tools and processes for inventorying, monitoring and reporting on Compliance & Ethics program controls.
  • Monitor internal information sources (e.g., risk assessments, audits, complaints) to identify and report on potential areas of compliance program vulnerability and make recommendations for remediation. Monitor implementation of remediation plans.
  • Assist in the development of compliance program metrics and benchmarking.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on the Compliance & Ethics program to the Noblis Board of Trustees.
  • Independently manage special projects and develop workflows associated with assigned projects.
  • Act as an ethics advisor including advising leaders and employees on planning, organizing, and administering courses of action to deal with ethics issues.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 3-5 years relevant compliance and ethics experience.
  • Strong knowledge of legal or regulatory compliance in the Government Contracts industry.
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with senior level internal and external customers,
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly, work independently with minimal supervision, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and lead intermediate projects in a team environment.
  • Proactive, well organized temperament with ability to effectively manage volume and prioritize accordingly · Sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail

Education
Minimum Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree.


License or Certification

CCEP, LPEC, OCEG certification preferred
