• SUN - THURS, 3:00 PM - 12:00 midnight

Key duties:

• Train and Supervise staff at College’s “Tiger Cooler” facility

• Coordinate production and service of food products in an efficient and timely manner, within established quality standards

• Oversee indoor and outdoor dining areas

• Ensure compliance with Department of Health Services and ServSafe policies for food safety and workplace sanitation

• Oversee procedures for controlling food cost

• Assist customers and enforce policies

• Monitor cashier / cash handling; investigate discrepancies

• Assist with cashier, counter, hot/cold food production as needed due to absences or fluctuating workload

• Coordinate food orders with staff and suppliers, directly and via FSS software

• Assist in developing and updating menu items

• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment

• Assist with major campus events, catering, theme meals, special projects and peak workload periods; may work in other campus dining facilities including as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced food service environment

• Bachelor's or Culinary degree preferred, or a combination of culinary education and cooking experience

• Obtain and maintain ServSafe Manager level certification (employer will offer testing)

• Organize time and work effectively in a busy environment

• Lift at least 30 pounds; frequent walking, extended bending, repetitive motion

• Operate a point of sale register and accurately balance cash

• Familiar with office and food service technology; experience with CBOARD FSS highly desirable

• Excellent customer service skills

• Professional appearance and behavior

• Read, write and converse fluently in English

• Work effectively within a diverse community of students, employees, faculty, staff and others
