Event Captain Job at Lick Honest Ice Creams
Position Summary
The role of the Event Captain is to be the lead point person for the Event Team and person responsible for all details of outgoing events. The person in this role is essentially an extension of the founders; supporting their goals of assuring happy and satisfied customers, knowledgeable and dependable employees and an exciting, unique and fulfilling customer experience. This person reports to the Event Manager.
Qualifications
Valid Texas driver’s license
1-2 years of customer service experience
Valid Food Handler's Certificate
- Manage all aspects of event staff and communication with staff
- Oversee all event staff event documentation including FHP, schedules, event kits, communication, questions, and concerns
- Train the event team so they have full understanding of all responsibilities and expectations. Assure they have checklist accountability for each event. Assure they have timely email response.
- Verify team members are in receipt of event kits and any concerns have been addressed within one week of distribution.
- Schedule weekly ice bag/dry ice pick up as needed.
- Weekly cleaning of event linens
- Keep entire event area in the storage space clean, tidy and organized. All boxes off the floor and labeled. Collaborate with Wholesale Manager on organization as needed.
- Complete the Event Captain’s portion of the “Office Event Checklist” for each event
- Be the main contact for all event emergencies. Be available by phone on event dates to remedy any problems which arise.
