Executive Director of Development Job at Sawdey Solution Services, Inc.
The primary function of the Executive Director of Development role is to assist with the Strategic and Tactical implementation of Business Development for the organization.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Development
- Lead/Identify new Business Development opportunities in customer environments.
- Implements and maintains growth strategies, technology, and intellectual property.
- Conduct primary industry and market research, competitive analyses, and customer needs assessments.
- Identify and realize growth and alliance opportunities with key industry organizations.
- Cultivate and maintain key contacts and relationships, positioning our business opportunities and developing capture plans.
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, and all other matters related to revenue generation within appropriate industries/business segment.
- Communicate effectively with resources to properly support targeted customers and their projects.
- Serve as capture manager for large task orders, IDIQs, and BPAs originating out of potential markets.
- Coordinate meetings with Executive Directors of Operations with the goal of business expansion in existing customer organizations.
- Assisting with corporate initiatives and customer contacts to help expand current business endeavors.
Proposal Operations / Transition Management
- Support proposal efforts by providing intelligence regarding specific customer needs, pain points, win themes, etc.
- Coordinate specific opportunities with current operations to leverage internal corporate Subject Matter Experts from multiple disciplines to pursue key prospects.
- Responsible to independently serve as proposal manager/capture lead and coordinate large and small proposal development.
- Supporting teaming meetings / coordinating activities among consultant team members including review / signature of Non-Disclosure Agreements / Teaming Agreements (NDAs / TAs) / workshare and salary discussions.
- Support Operations with new contract awards as a Transition Manager to ensure smooth handoff from Proposal phase, Contract Award, and execution of the effort.
Other
- May direct staff.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
