PainStop Spine Clinic is searching for an experienced and caring Certified Medical Assistant to join our
team of dedicated professionals at both our Biloxi and Pascagoula locations. The position open to part-time or full time, (M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm). As part of the PainStop family, you

As a Medical Assistant, you would be responsible for:
-Greeting patients when they arrive at the clinic
-Interviewing patients to record their medical history, vital statistics, or other information such as test
results in medical records
-Keeping examination rooms neat, clean, and prepared as well as taking patients to the rooms
-Collecting laboratory specimens and logging and preparing them for testing
-Assisting with patient education (medication, diet, procedures, or physician instructions to patient)
-Cleaning/ sterilizing the instruments and disposing of contaminated supplies
-Performing routine laboratory tests and sample analysis
-Performing general office duties such as taking dictation, completing insurance forms, filing and
scanning, contacting other facilities/ departments, contacting patients, scheduling, etc
-Helping physicians examine and treat patients; handing them instruments, materials, and performing
such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures
-Taking inventory and ordering medical, lab, or office supplies and equipment
-Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be certified MA (CCMA/CMA/ RMA)
- Must be able to sit or stand for 6 hours
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Must have a current driver license and reliable transportation to work between the Biloxi and Pascagoula
locations
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must type at least 30 WPM
- Bilingual is a PLUS!!!
- Open minded and willing to learn and improve
