Experienced Veterinary Assistant Job at VCA Animal Hospitals

VCA California Veterinary Specialists here in Ontario is the largest 24 hours Emergency and Specialty hospital in the Inland Empire. For over 10 years we have provided exceptional veterinary service and patient care. We take pride in what we do and are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to work with a strong team of individuals in a fast paced environment. We will train and help you improve your skills and we encourage you to further your career goals. We provide access to experienced RVTs and VTS for additional hands on training. Both of these positions are full-time with salary ranging from $18 - 22 per hour depending on experience.

- Catheter placement

- Anesthesia monitoring
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Laboratory work

- Compassionate care for hospitalized patients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have documented previous experience
- Customer service skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Excellent communications skills
- Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
