JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: F&B Server
RESPORTS TO: F&B Operations Mgr
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal FT/PT
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE:
To provide quality and reliable service and information to all guests. Serve food and beverages in a polite and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Stock and set dining room and bar.
- Prep salads and garnishes.
- Greet all guests in a warm and sincere manner
- Take drink orders quickly and accurately.
- Serve entrees and accompaniments accurately and professionally.
- Clear tables.
- Serve deserts and drinks.
- Answer numerous questions from guests.
- Clean and reset for next shift.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Team attitude to assist in other areas as business and staffing levels dictate.
- Keep kitchen informed as to needs of guests and food servers.
- Complete knowledge of JHMR and the valley.
- Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job-

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:
- Food service and sanitation
- Customer service skills
- Able to work in cramped quarters
- Able to work well with others.
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Two years food server experienced desired.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
- All restaurant equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
- Cold cramped and fast paced.
