Burdick Toyota in Cicero, NY, has a unique employment opportunity for an experienced F&I/Business Manager. We are seeking to add a business minded & customer focused professional to efficiently and effectively manage the F&I Department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Computer knowledge
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High customer-service orientation
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • 2 years of prior dealership experience
  • Clean, valid driver’s license
  • Degree or commensurate experience in finance

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sell financing, credit life, accident & health insurance, service & Gap contracts, and chemicals to customers
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise
  • Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals
  • Set up and maintain an adequate program which will ensure 100% turnover ratio to the F&I department
  • Provide incentives for salespeople to sell finance and insurance in accordance with dealership policies
  • Instruct salespeople in the methods of selling finance
  • Work with the Sales Managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale
  • Set up finance forecasting in conjunction with sales department forecasting to achieve a desired percent of penetration and income
  • Attend managers’ meetings
  • Maintain a Daily Operating Control
  • Prepare monthly penetration reports on finance penetration and share with the Dealer
  • Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.
  • Handle all rate quotations
  • Enter each purchaser into the dealership computer system
  • Review all department paperwork for each delivery
  • Establish and meet monthly objectives

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
