Summary: The Facilities Coordinator's primary responsibility is the daily coordination of the Housekeeping and Engineering operations. The Facilities Coordinator's is responsible for ensuring that the department achieves the highest degree of service delivery through effective communication and follow up. The Facilities Coordinator's serves as the liaison between the Housekeeping/Engineering departments and Front Office, Sales, Security, and Food and Beverage departments.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeping Manager. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following administrative duties:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Handle all calls for the Housekeeping and Engineering departments and ensures all messages, information and requests are logged, communicated promptly and accurately to provide prompt delivery of excellent service for guests.
  • Process requests and delegate work assignments in a timely manner, follow up with the guest to ensure their satisfaction
  • Responsible for communicating all operational concerns to the leadership team and proactively addressing any day-to-day operational concerns.
  • Take a lead role in the coordination of all Housekeeping and Engineering employees and activities including office opening and closing, daily room assignments, inspection of rooms, evening service assignments, and other special tasks.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all Housekeeping and Engineering services, outlets, hotel areas / features and hours of operation.
  • Keep a complete updated inventory of linen and housekeeping supplies.
  • Order supplies as needed in coordination with management
  • Generate various operational reports for the coordination of the Housekeeping and Engineering department.
  • Assist other Housekeeping and Engineering employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

Shift: Flexible

Day(s) Required: FLEXIBLE including weekends and Holidays

Physical Demands:

  • Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
  • Light work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand for long hours at a time, sometimes for entire shift.

Responsibilities may include any and all of the following:

Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Regular attendance is required in compliance with Prism standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes proper dress and correct nametag when working.

Comply at all times with Prism standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
