Facilities Maintenance Technician ($26.00 - $28.00 / hour) Job at Innophos
Under general supervision, provides support for the maintenance related needs of all buildings and grounds.
The wage for this position is between $26.00 - $28.00 / hr and is based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs and other repair/replacement work as required
- Performs routine, non-technical facility and equipment maintenance and serves as a helper or assistant to the maintenance team overall as needed
- Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces
- Oversees and performs the duties associated with events, including executing the set-up plan in a timely manner, break-downs are completed on schedule with spaces returned to normal state
- Completes all documentation for work performed, ordering of supplies or materials needed in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or GED required
- 2 or more years of relevant training or work experience preferred.
Environment and/or Physical Factors:
Work is performed in the plant as well as the maintenance shop. There are frequent physical demands associated with this position, including regular lifting (some heavy), stair climbing, working in the heat, handling tools, etc.
