Job Functions
- Performs repairs and or maintenance to Achieva Facilities and equipment: basic carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC repair, small appliance repairs and other repairs as needed.
- Plans, coordinates, and supervises construction projects performed by outside contractors as directed. Plans, designs, and purchases materials and construct renovation projects at Achieva sites as directed.
- Inspects machinery, facilities, and equipment to identify needed repairs and maintenance.
- Inspects the work of vendors to ensure work is in compliance with safety guidelines and completed in a timely manner in accordance with bid specifications.
- Implements a preventative maintenance program.
- Submits requests for, orders and purchases supplies and equipment. Orders and purchases supplies and equipment as directed.
- Ability to use Achieva's maintenance work order system (eMaint) and the fleet management system software.
