Currently looking to hire an experienced Facilities Manager to work locally within Baton Rouge, La.
The schedule is Monday-Friday 40 hours a week with occasional overtime as needed.
The rate of pay for this position depends on experience between $95k-$105k.

Summary:
The Facilities Manager is fully responsible for ensuring the proper execution of sales orders meeting cost, delivery, quality, and safety targets. Drives the company on a path of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities/Performance Measures:
- Perform a technical review of received Sales Orders to ensure the proper product selection and execution.
- Issue the production System Summary and revise all technical documents to reflect the latest Bill of Quantity provided by the Projects Department.
- Issue the Stress Analysis input data, envelopes, mechanical properties, and the temperature.
- Coordinate with the Projects Department and attend project meetings to resolve all technical issues prior to or during the execution of projects.
- Provide answers to technical questions raised by the Production, QC, and Site Services Departments.
- Maintain knowledge of the local unit production tooling and availability of products, mandrels, and molds.
- Review the stress analysis report and recommendations prepared by the Stress Engineer for ongoing projects.
- Drives performance improvement of the plant focusing on labor efficiency (man-hours per unit of production), materials consumption (raw material consumption per unit produced), and equipment efficiency (OEE). Coordinates with maintenance department for scheduling of preventive maintenance. Ensures proper cleanliness and organization of the workspace by leading the 5S efforts.
- Production reporting in ERP system
- Ensures the product meets the customer’s expectations and requirements, reduces the reject rate by reducing the variability of the processes.
- Drives improvements through the use of Continuous Improvement tools
- Coordinate with the QC Department to execute the qualification tests as required by the Client Specifications and the International Standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 Yrs.) in Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years work experience in designing/drafting of Fiberglass Piping.
- Composite Pipe Design experience
- 10 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean manufacturing
- Implementation of continuous improvement tools
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse environment.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Excel use in solving engineering problems.
