Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Community Bridges is currently seeking a Service Worker at our Central City facility located in Phoenix. AZ
The Service Worker is responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients and employees at assigned facility and for ensuring that all rooms at the facility are clean and orderly.
Responsibilities
Food Service
Coordinates menus with Site Managers; prepares food according to menus and serves meals at designated service times in adequate quantities for number of people being served; plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved. Keeps work area neat and clean at all times to ensure a safe work environment; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation. Maintains an inventory of food and kitchen supplies in accordance with facility needs; responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
Housekeeping
By following a daily housekeeping schedule, cleans, disinfects and sanitizes all rooms to include offices, halls, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas and lobbies; removes and discards trash on inside and outside of facility; keeps all areas of the facility tidy and organized. Cleans all laundry for facility to include all towels, linens, scrubs, socks and rags. Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to Site Manager Works with supervisors and staff to identify hazardous conditions and unsafe work practices and reports as necessary to Site Manager Maintains an inventory of housekeeping and janitorial supplies in accordance with facility needs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
