Rowan–Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) is a large community college in Rowan County and Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA. It is one of 58 colleges in the state-supported North Carolina Community College System.

RCCC offers fully accredited associate degree programs in more than 40 areas of study, including arts and sciences, business, information technology, health and public services, engineering technologies, and biotechnology. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a Facilities Services Technician I who has knowledge and expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems maintenance and repair, performs a variety of skilled maintenance work to repair, and remodel College buildings, facilities, electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and fixtures; as assigned. Employee will safely operate College vehicles and equipment; practices safe work processes and contributes to the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment for self and others. Our Facilities Services Technician I position also has the ability to enroll in our apprenticeship program, giving them added knowledge and skills for additional promotional and pay increase opportunities.

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid NC Driver’s license, with a good driving record

PREFERRED

• One to three year(s) experience of mechanical, carpentry , industrial, building maintenance, and equipment operator, general maintenance or other related experience
• HVAC experience a plus but not required
