Summary:

The Maintenance Manager assists in the maintenance of facility equipment and directly supervises and coordinates the activities of the maintenance technicians, maintenance leads and janitorial staff.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the company safety program.

Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.

Maintain all internal and external facilities and equipment for proper operation and safety in adherence to the preventive maintenance program.

Timely respond to requests for processing facility problems which are affecting the production operation.

Maintain and purchase adequate inventory of required spare parts, materials, and equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance purposes.

Implement all maintenance projects and machinery installations as defined by management.

Obtain and maintain complete, proper, and up-to-date documentation applicable to machine and facility service, maintenance and preventive maintenance.

Troubleshoot facility IT hardware (printers, scanners, PC, servers) with assistance from helpdesk.

Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

• The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. The employee will regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• College degree strongly preferred.
• Five to seven years of experience in conveyor equipment maintenance or equivalent education.
• Five years leadership experience.
• Welding experience.
• Flexible schedule – shifts are usually evening and early morning.
• The ability to use basic excel, word and email.
• Able to read and write in the English language.
