HomeWell Cares Services gladly services many residents at an independent living facility in Venice, FL. We have a team of caregivers and are hiring for their supervisor position. Must have car and drivers license.

Caregiver Supervisor is the point of contact for Caregivers in the building and performs basic supervisory tasks. Performs other related duties as required. The supervisor will serve as liaison between the client, shift caregiver, and office team.

Shifts: Day and Evening
Pay rate: $18\hr

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Supervise caregivers on site and assure everyone is on task. Assisting your team wherever needed.
• Visit clients to introduce new caregivers, cover shifts, and gather client information.
• Assists with training new caregivers on facility clients we work with
• Assisting residents with ADLs including, but not limited to, grooming, hygiene, dressing, clothing cleanliness, perineal care, showering or baths & positioning; which requires lifting to 40 pounds;
• Manage weekly client schedule and personally filling in for any Caregiver shifts if there are any schedule gaps.
• Refer any urgent client or staff issues to the office team for follow-up.

MUST HAVE:

• 3-5+ years experience
• Dementia & Alzehimners experience
• FL Driver's License & Own a Vehicle
• Level 2 background check or willing to get one with us
• CPR Certification or be willing to get one with us

Working conditions:

• On your feet for duration of shift
• Maneuvering through the facility in a timely manner,
• Fast Paced environment,
• Ability to handle difficult clients,
• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 50lbs.
• Lifting, Bending, Walking, Turning are required

Minimum of 20 hours a week with 4 out of 8 individual weekend days in a month.
