The Moran Law Firm is seeking a passionate individual interested in being a Family Law Associate Attorney. This position will be full-time; financial compensation is commensurate with experience.

Associate Attorney Job Description; Post-Grad Law Students with certification to practice will also be considered.

A multi-practice litigation firm is seeking an experienced Family Law attorney with 0-5 years of experience. We are willing to train the right candidate. Candidates should be familiar with research methods and have knowledge of code and case law. Knowledge of civil procedure is a plus. Candidates should be organized, team players, exhibit an ability to have compassion for the client while being assertive in court, and have a desire to grow with the firm long term!

All applicants must have experience in Family Law to be considered. Trial experience is also preferred, but not required. Our Firm also practices Criminal Law, and any interested applicant could cross-train, and expend into the Criminal Law Department, if there was an interest. Key Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities

• Preparing pleadings, motions (or RFOs), declarations, points and authorities, and all aspects of litigation and discovery.

• Conducting online research.

• Prepare settlement, trial briefs, motion in limine.

• Preparing the lead attorney for trial.

• Making In Court and Zoom Court Appearances.

• Meeting with clients, and maintaining regular communication with clients about the status of their case.

• Meeting billing requirements.

• Admitted to California Bar.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Family Law Associate

• Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques

• High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Integrity and professionalism

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Being discreet

• Being trustworthy

• Having the ability to work under pressure

• Bilingual status is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
