Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Description
We are a well established primary care medical office, now we are looking for
Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

We are looking for licensed candidates who are self motivated, have good communication skills, and are well organized and detail oriented.

Two-year commitment preferred.

Essential responsibilities:

• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for acute and chronically ill patients ,Provides counseling to patients regarding diagnosis and expected course of treatment
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs. Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities,

(Analyze patient data and formulate an individualized plan of care based on patient assessment and needs in collaboration with the physician, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.)

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.

Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.

• Provides direct patient care in office consultations, including assessment, work-ups, triage, emergency work-ins, and other patient care activities
• Performs other related duties in support of efficient department operations and superior patient care
• Complete, appropriate, and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) for the encounter
• Provide excellent customer service and assist in efforts to improve patient satisfaction scores.

Requirements:

• New York State active license is required
• Be able to work some weekend shifts
• Fluency in other languages is a plus
• Prior experience in a medical office preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: competitive salary according to the experience.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 40 hours a week must be able work in some weekend shifts(Saturday or

Sunday)

Experience:

• Medical experience: 3 years (Preferred)
• Good candidate without experience will train

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
