JOB TITLE: FEEDMILL OPERATIONS

OVERVIEW: Responsible for daily feed mill operations and feed production. Functions may include maintenance of equipment, plant, operation of forklifts, loaders and other duties as required.

OSHA safety guidelines.

• Develop operational knowledge to assist in other departments.
• Proactively identifies areas of opportunity in Feedmill and collaborates with co-workers and management team to enhance efficiency and success.
• Continues to grow personal knowledge of grain and United Farmers Cooperative locations and services and the Cooperative business model to improve product recommendations and services to the Cooperative's customers.
• Acts as the first line of support for the UFC Feedmill Department's Sales team.

CONNECTED & COMMITTED:

• Must be able to always climb ladders and into equipment as well as lift 50 lbs and occasionally 75lbs.
• Check with Production Coordinator to get feed made for trucking schedule.
• Operate computerized batch mixing equipment, receiving and load-out equipment, micro-ingredient addition, grinding equipment and pelleting equipment.
• Sequence feed properly to prevent drug carryover or ruminant meat and bone contamination.
• Follow rules set forth in Quality Assurance Manual and follow all Good

Manufacturing Regulations.

• Always maintain a high level of quality control.
• Keep production records on all feeds manufactured.
• Performs required preventative maintenance and have all preventative maintenance reports turned in on time.

• Feed Mill Manager of any feel mill supplies/inventory needed.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Feed Mill Manager.
• Assist in loading and unloading company and customer vehicles with product as needed.
• Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
• Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees always.
