The Field Sales Representative role is an entry-level sales position that is accountable for the specialty toy channel customer base. This position comes with direct responsibility in handling both an existing book of business as well as new business prospects.
You will have the opportunity to build key sales skills that will support a future career path in key account management. Focus is placed on providing outstanding customer service, developing long term balanced growth, and establishing and maintaining brand equity with our retail partners.
Core Responsibilities

Deliver monthly and annual sales targets

Build key fundamental skills in selling and negotiating

Develop and sell in product listings, planograms, and marketing plans

Understand the buyer and seller relationship including what is important to both and how to measure

Understand the shelf both in-store and online, specifically the fundamentals of merchandising at the shelf and inventory management

Collaborate with internal partners to provide outstanding support to customer base.

Understand and implement the Go To Market principles and Field Sales service model within the assigned territory.

Plan, prepare, and support customers at industry trade shows (e.g. American International (New York)Toy Fair, ASTRA Marketplace)

In this position, the ideal candidate will lead a book of business with a designated portfolio of existing and new customers serviced both direct and through the B2B platform (LEGO.com). This includes the development and implementation of business plans to deliver our value proposition and achieve balanced and profitable growth.
This role resides within a high-profile part of the organization and attributes to business unit revenue and profit targets. Success in this role requires a high level of individual performance and collaboration with key internal and external partners.
Do you have what it takes?

Strong verified understanding of Microsoft Office Products (primarily Excel and Word)

Ability to be flexible and to lead multiple priorities while still achieving set timelines

Consistent record of accomplishment, leadership, and over achievement of goals

Ability to demonstrate drive and curiosity

Shown ability to optimize work both independently and in a team environment

Self-motivated and highly organized with ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
