We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for you to support our Service team in the UK

As a Field Service Engineer, you ensure our excellent technical service for our customers from various sectors, such as the medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors. Your communicative personality enables you to deal with our customers in a confident manner, you are proactive with a structured approach and can keep a cool head even in critical phases.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Contributing to and uncovering new technical challenges working as part of a supportive team.

Independently or within a small team - install, maintain and service our EOS systems at our customer's sites, providing field service support across Ireland and the UK and potential requirement of short-term working at some of our international customers.

Customer briefings and trainings.
-
Supporting customers and colleagues on the telephone and hand out the right advice with your knowledge.

Participation in intensive local and in-house-trainings on our systems and technology at our headquarters close to Munich, Germany.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
-
Certification within electrical/mechanical engineering or a similar apprenticeship, or education in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical engineering

Excellent fault diagnosis skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
-
It would be a plus if you already have experience as a Field Service Engineer and in professional dealings with customers and complex machines preferable within the Additive Manufacturing industry

A valid driving license is essential, along with the willingness to travel

Excellent computer skills and accomplished command of written and spoken English
