As a Marine Services Field Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to determine the status of service needed for various marine engines and generators and perform the necessary repairs and maintenance, in the field, to restore equipment to proper operation.

Position Requirements:

• Must own proper tools to preform repairs
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Associate’s degree or certificate from a technical college, will consider previous work or military experience in lieu of educational requirements)
• Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of engines
• Service, diagnose, and repair electronic engine control systems
• Perform engine overhauls in the field
• Professional communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Houston - 290 address: 12800 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77040. 290 East (From Beltway 8): exit is Pinemont/Bingle/43rd St, make a u-turn under the highway at Bingle and stay on the service road. 290 West (From I-610): exit is Pinemont/Bingle/43rd St and stay on the service road until you see Mustang Cat on the right. The main entrance to the parking lot is off of the service road.

Important information regarding parking and HR office location: The entrance to Mustang’s Human Resources department is located at the southeast end of the loading dock. (Or, the far right end of the loading dock if you are facing away from HWY 290.) There is Visitor Parking in front of the 3-story building next to the flagpole, and alongside the side street, Burr Oak. Check in with the HR Receptionist in the lobby and she will notify the team when you arrive.
