Field Trainer Job at Buff City Soap
Field Trainers are passionate, highly engaged stewards of our brand to our guests, makers and franchisees. Our Field Trainers support Franchisee Operations, New Store Openings, Support Center onboarding, and other training initiatives outlined throughout the year. This position is responsible for ongoing training and development of Buff City Soap standards, processes, practices, and company culture.
Contributions
- Subject matter expert in production, product and people processes
- Facilitates experiential training forward facing to our guests, makers and franchisees
- Facilitates new franchisee onboarding and new store opening trainings
- Assist in ongoing, annual training for all Buff City Soap support center employees and franchisees
- Facilitates training store visits based on store performance levels, franchisor agreements, and franchisee requests in partnership with our Franchise Support team
- Facilitate guest service focused and production-based training of newly hired Buff City Soap Makers and newly onboarded franchisees
- Aid in the creation and development of training resource material, training schedules, and training curriculum
- Contribute to special projects as needed and assigned
Qualifications
- Role model all brand standards, policies, and procedures
- High energy leader and creative thinker
- Effective communicator – oral, written, and verbal
- High organizational and time management skills
- Professional experience representing a brand within a franchise model
- 2+ years’ experience contributing as a corporate trainer or a training-related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Bonus: Canva and InDesign
- Preferred experience in start-up and/or high growth environments
- Preferred experience in Retail, F&B and/or Manufacturing background
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel 80% of the year and work varying scheduled hours. Must be based within 60 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
- Ability to work, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must not be sensitive to various fragrances and raw ingredients.
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 60lbs.
- Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch.
