The Finance Manager, PAS works in collaboration with operations to collect, analyze, and report operational data for periodic and project-based financial and operational analysis, including forecast and budgeting. The Finance Manager also serves as the business liaison with corporate finance and support services to validate revenue, billing, and financial reporting.
Your Primary Objectives
- Produce accurate and appropriately detailed reporting, analysis, and modeling to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Effectively collect, measure, track, report, and communicate operational and financial metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for use by business unit.
- Direct and maintain integrity of PAS financials through appropriate billing, costing, and accrual activity.
- Collaborate and maintain relationship with Shared Services on finance and billing matters.
- Manage, lead, and develop the PAS Finance Accounts Team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and present accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections of PAS financials for all locations, with commentary on variances to budget at both client and service levels.
- Meet regularly with profit center owners to review financial position and collect key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Perform weekly reconciliation of financial data to operational metrics and KPIs.
- Summarize relevant operational and financial analysis; provide projections and modeling based on trends and relevant inputs with well-supported assumptions.
- Perform various analytics tied to new client pricing and profitability.
- Perform return on investment (ROI) analysis on potential offerings or validation of historical investments.
- Manage the completion of accurate billing to PAS clients, inclusive of appropriate pricing/rate entry and invoice structure and setup.
- Serve as point of escalation for various financial functions including billing, cash application, collections, IT rejection resolution, etc.
- Collaborate with finance, general ledger accounting, operations, and system groups as part of the month end close process to ensure all known Journal Entries and financial accruals are processed accurately and with support.
- Provide direction, oversight, guidance, performance management, coaching, and development to the PAS Finance Accounts team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field required
- 5+ years’ experience in a financial analysis or similar position with direct responsibility for research, analysis, and modeling of large data sets and complex financial issues
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
