You will play a pivotal role in building a world-class analytics team at Bloomberg Industry Group, through in-depth analysis of commercial strategies and serving as a trusted advisor to the CFO and other key stakeholders across the organization. You will bring a wealth of experience in financial modelling and strategic analytics and will be eager to dive in and add value in a diverse, fast paced, and collaborative environment.

What you will do:

· Analyze and advise on the business impact of strategic policies and identify drivers behind performance changes

· Build and maintain complex financial models from disparate data sources to forecast outcomes and advise on commercial strategies. Compare results against and provide detailed analysis on variance between historical and forecasted results

· Leverage technical understanding and business acumen to translate high-level business requirements into technical and functional specifications to develop reporting & analytics

· Collaborate with all parts of the business to successfully design, implement, and sustain initiatives

· Prepare and present actionable results and recommendations to senior leadership

· Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement, evaluate impact to the business, and propose strategic solutions

You need to have:

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

· Bachelor’s degree with courses in business, mathematics, statistics or appropriate combination of education and experience, Master’s degree preferred but not required

· 2-4 years’ experience in data analysis, business analysis, and/or revenue analysis

· Experience working in a subscription-based business is a plus

· Experience with technical tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, etc. preferred

· Ability to translate complex concepts and issues into insights for business leaders and non-technical audiences

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
