This is an individual contributor financial analyst position responsible for supporting functions of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department (“FP&A”). The candidate will perform compilation, reconciliation, and analysis of financial data for inclusion in the financial forecast for the company.

This is an individual contributor financial analyst position responsible for supporting functions of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department (“FP&A”). The candidate will perform compilation, reconciliation, and analysis of financial data for inclusion in the financial forecast for the company.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
- Take part in the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and forecast scenarios. Meet with business units to manage expenses, update forecasts, and understand variances.
- Enhance the forecasting process through maintenance and controls related to the forecasting models. Support initiatives of the FP&A department around enhancements to the process, implementation of forecasting software or tools, and build out of necessary related controls.
- Prepare and review presentations of forecast results for management and external stakeholders including rating agencies, regulators, and credit facility participants.
- Support analysis of any new business initiatives, participate in other special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related business field.
- 2+ years of Accounting or Finance experience.
- Experience with financial analysis responsibilities. Understanding of the mortgage, banking or insurance industries is a plus.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, including managing and working with complex spreadsheets. SQL/database experience a plus.
- Entrepreneurial, with a proactive and self-starting personality. Decisive, action-oriented, and results oriented.
- Sound business acumen, with ability to assimilate, synthesize, interpret, and extrapolate financial information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Open communicator, inquisitive and not afraid to challenge.
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with corporate management and all other functions in the Company.
