Position Overview:

The Financial Quantitative Analyst will develop sophisticated financial models and analysis to improve company operational performance. The role will be responsible for key business analysis and data integrity across all reporting systems that support the company’s continued growth and profitability.

This role is responsible for synthesizing analysis with budgeting and strategy development to provide analytical bandwidth for all areas of support, incorporating analytic efforts into forward looking forecasts and business decision support. The position requires excellent business partnering skills and collaboration with all business partners across the company.

Location: Candidate must be located in Greater Seattle area. The role can work remotely, however the employee must be able to come into the office for training, key meetings, etc.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, analyze, format, and present ad hoc financial reporting requests by stakeholders on key company performance indicators
• Develop, deploy and manage multi-system data models and reporting
• Automate data flows and report generation
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Develop data visualization (via Tableau/Power BI) and access associated data models
• Create dashboards to improve current data warehouse and assist clients with data warehouse
• Ensure on-going data warehouse integrity and reconciliations to general ledger information
• Studies and understands the company’s business processes and applications, including their effect on data and reporting, and applies the knowledge gained in designing data warehouses and reports
• Identify and document all requirements for data warehouse components and reports by working with end users
• Assemble performance statistics, analyze them, and make recommendations for improvements
• Establish system documentation and ensure it is continually sustained
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Finance, Statistics or related field required
• 5+ years of relative work experience required; experience with Power BI & programming languages (i.e. Python, R) strongly desired
• Experience with SQL databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of statistics
• Excellent computer operation and programming skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn additional programs as needed
• High attention to detail and accuracy required
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
