About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill a potential role of a full time Financial Systems Analyst in support of the Air Force Financial Systems Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of activities, including, but not limited to the following:

• Interpreting and translating end user to system requirements.
• Testing system upgrades.
• Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Facilitating change management and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (or 4 years’ experience).
• Experience gathering and tracking system requirements through requirements lifecycle and the ability to perform system testing.
• Hands-on experience with information/data gathering and data analysis.
• Ability to understand technical discussions to analyze and solve problems and to create documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines independently as well as part of a team.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have the ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Air Force appropriations and budget processes at Air Staff and MAJCOM level.
• Familiarity with Air Force Permanent Change of Station (PCS) processing, accounting, and entitlements.
• Awareness of Air Force PCS regulations and instruction such as AFI 24-602.
• Knowledge in Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS).
• Other Air Force Financial Management system experience.
