Fitness Coordinator – Health4Life – Cornell – Part Time
The Fitness Coordinator works closely with program and community staff to implement and enhance the physical activity programming onsite and in the community. The Fitness Coordinator ensures program sustainability and visibility by: improving/tailoring program materials, ensuring materials are in alignment with the hospital’s brand, and keeping abreast of evidenced-based research in the areas of physical activity, program development, public health, and education.
This part time position will be required to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s degree
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have a current nationally recognized fitness certification, license, or experience
- Strong writing skills – ability develop health and physical activity content for target audience
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to a diverse audience
- Knowledge of physical activity
