Job Summary:
The Foreman will oversee and coordinate operations and employees at our PARCO terminal. As the liaison between workers and supervisors, the foreman will be the key person in charge of overseeing the completion of tasks with a keen awareness of employee safety, environmental compliance, communication and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:
1. Protect family and friends. The Terminal Foreman is responsible for Safety and Compliance throughout the entire facility, which includes, housekeeping, Self-Inspections, Monthly Safety Initiatives, Toolbox Talks and general enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
2. Obligated. Responsible for all Environmental Inspections and record keeping pertaining to the facilities SPCC, SWPP, FRP, etc.
3. Efficiency. Responsible for ordering all office supplies, shop supplies, terminal supplies, and basic chemicals. Any purchase of more than $1,500 should be pre-approved by the Plant Manager.
4. Respect and Engage. Communicate with the Maintenance Shop, the Dispatch Department as well as the Rail Terminal to complete all necessary tasks.
5. Transparency and Learning. Reponsibilities include directing daily tasks for all Employees within the facility.
6. Integrity. The Foreman will be responsible for filling out and submitting timecards for terminal employees. In addition, they will also be responsible for all verbal corrective actions.
7. Results Matter. Responsible for reviewing Plant Report Sales and Inventory with the Plant Clerk.


Requirements, Education and Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Terminal Operator.
2. Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
4. Legal right to work in the U.S.

Travel:
Position requires up to 5% travel by car to offices throughout Hudson Valley, Vermont, Connecticut, and Massachusetts based on the needs of the operation.


Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100lbs or more. This position works outdoors in most types of weather including high heat, and inclement weather. This position works near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, sitting, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
