We are looking for a FLVS Manager to join our Advisory Department in our New York City office. As a FLVS Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. NOTE: This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with a team to perform specific music asset forecasting techniques leading to music valuation client deliverables, under the direction of Partner, Nari Matsuura
    • Prepare valuation models, either of a single catalog, or of a fund consisting of multiple catalogs.
    • Develop a fully organized and well-manicured interlocking series of excel spreadsheets that arrive at the NPV of DCF.
    • Refine valuation models, by applying the best application of all of the inputs to the models that arrive at either market value or a more conservative view for debt service.
    • Develop narrative reports explaining methodology and results.
    • Interact with clients and third-party interests, including banks and auditors, to explain results.
  • Working with team to perform certain music licensing or litigation assignments by managing economic music studies in support of client cases, under the direction of Partner, Barry Massarsky.
  • Ability to work closely and collegially with Elon Altman, Director, and Jake DeVries, Manager, on multiple client assignments.
  • Performing in-depth client, industry, market, and competitor research.

Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S./B.B.A./Master’s in finance, accounting, business.
  • Have 2-4 years recent financial or accounting experience.
  • Have excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
  • Have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Be a self-starter, creative, outgoing, and possesses strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be able to work cooperatively with team members, show a willingness to learn, demonstrate an ability to manage staff, pay strong attention to detail, and have an exceptional work ethic.

For positions in New York City, the salary range is $130,000 – $220,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
