NOW HIRING FORKLIFT OPERATOR -3rd SHIFT FOREST CITY
** Previous CONVERTING EXPERIENCE is a PLUS **
SHIFTS: 11Pm-7Am Sun-Thurs Friday as needed
PAY: $17 - $18.50 per hour Must be able to train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate forklift
- Install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
- Responsible for the setup and operation of machines to produce a quality product that meets or exceeds customers’ requirements
Perform machine change-overs as required while adhering to standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Perform all work in accordance with safety regulations and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Assist in the training of new technicians
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of forklift experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Working knowledge of hand tools, multimeters, and other test equipment
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Comfortable with not wearing any jewelry, piercings, nail polish
