FORKLIFT OPERATOR REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- No work experience is required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 6 months of work experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.
FORKLIFT OPERATOR COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
- Ability to read and understand English to effectively read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents.
- Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (forklifts).
- Ability to work well with others and thrive in a fast-paced team environment with tight deadlines
- Must demonstrate attention to detail
- Certification in forklift operation preferred; ability to become forklift certified required
- Ability to work in high areas
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to lift 80-90 pounds on a regular basis
