The Franchising Associate will be the first point of contact for new franchise candidate leads interested in purchasing development commitments for all brands (Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings Sports Bars, BWW-GO, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and Sonic. This role works hand in hand with franchise candidates, Franchising Teams and Franchise Development to move deals from raw leads to qualified status. Focused on achieving goal for Franchising Future Commitments for the assigned Brands. Sales of future development commitments to existing, cross brand and prospective new franchisees.
Primary focus on lead generation and candidate qualification. Planning and execution of recruitment events including Webinars, Discovery Days and Trade Shows.

Success requires the ability to learn about a variety of brands quickly, to identify quality priority leads from limited information, make connections easily, builds relationships, communicate effectively across a wide range of clients and channels (web, SMS, email, chat, telephone, written correspondence) and executes with precision and careful attention to detail.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review of preliminary lead information and commence vetting, information review, territory availability and initial contact

  • Explain processes and next steps

  • Work flows correlate with Deal Status: 1. New Leads and 2. Lead Pending Response

  • Continue dialogue with candidates on a timely basis, moving through FDD and application process. Correlates with Deal Status 3. Invitation to Complete Package

  • Continue with qualification steps (including facilitating completion of Boefly requests), and scheduling meetings and introductions to Franchise Managers. Correlates with Deal Status 4. Application Package Submitted/Boefly Sent and Status 5. Due Diligence

  • Actively partners with Franchise Development in measuring lead quality and sources, creating drip campaigns, ongoing social media marketing, and direct outreach to prospective franchisees

  • Engages with team to execute introductory webinars, live Discovery Days, and to drive connects for upcoming trade shows

  • Post-show communications to interested parties

  • Admin - Prepares, coordinates, and distributes communications relative to franchise sales lead generation activities, metric tracking, and reporting against established lead generation goals and providing leading metric reports to the team weekly

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Min)

  • Business or related discipline

  • 2+ years Franchise Segment

  • 1+ years Sales lead generation/ sales call experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Highly computer proficient and comfortable in a CRM environment (Ideally prior experience with Salesforce)

  • Social Media Savvy and technical expertise (able to create as well as distribute)

  • Resilient to rejection in a sales environment

  • Resourceful, creative and engaging (both in person and in alternative communications)

  • Ability to determine (through experience) candidates with a high likelihood of success

  • General financial acumen (Net Worth, Liquidity, basic P&L’s)

  • Ability to understand FDD’s and structure of Franchise Agreements

  • Ability to maintain relationships with a variety of constituents

  • Excellent oral and written skills to include preparation and formal presentation experience

  • Event Production/Planning/Execution

  • Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other systems utilized by the development team
