DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Answers incoming phone calls, patient inquiries and customer care
  • Perform general administrative patient care duties including scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, overseeing patient satisfaction within clinic; confirm patient information for accurate patient treatment and insurance As well as maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Verify insurance eligibility prior to patient
  • Schedule exams and record information pertinent to exams ordered by referring physicians or patients, if
  • Collect payments from patients and accurately apply to the patient
  • Advanced knowledge of front office job duties to provide back up for scheduled or unscheduled time off for staff, as Also, for ability to train new staff.
  • Consult with patients regarding processing of fees, office procedures, and oversee patient satisfaction within clinic as
  • Knowledge and performance in applicable systems and computer
  • Other duties as necessary for clinic operation.
  • Will be expected to cross train in other clinics and provide support if needed.

Experience

Required
  • Clerical experience in medical field
