The Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile a 419-room hotel is currently seeking an experienced Front Office Supervisor.
As a Front Office Supervisor you are responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager and the Assistant Front Office Manager in the supervision of the entire front office operations to ensure profitability, the best service, quality and value to every customer every time throughout their stay; management of front office, concierge, PBX and bell staff; select, train and develop team. This position will work primarily the evening shift but must be available for the morning shift when needed.
- Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance.
- Check guests in and out.
- Maintain work area neat and organized.
- Monitor reservations made and house count.
- Monitor status of guest accounts.
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Act as Manager-On-Duty when assigned.
- Answer all complaints and concerns that occur during shifts.
- Verify all shift work and deposits.
- Assist in the training and development of new Front Desk Clerks.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Read, pass on log and communicate with previous shift.
- Run reports and complete them, i.e., high balance, cash basis, etc.

Requirements:
- Prefer 1+ year supervisory experience in hotel front office.
- Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently.
- Prior cash handling experience necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
- Computer experience required.
