Job Description
We own and maintain several websites, gateways, and other payment transaction software. We have several new exciting projects in the works, which involve both front-end and back-end development. You will be working closely with our in-house team to build and maintain several applications. Strong PHP and Laravel stack development skills are needed. Strong understanding and experience with security best practices are a must. Applicants must be willing to undergo a background check, prior to employment at National Processing.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Strong self-starter and excellent problem solving skills are a must
- Ability to break down complex systems into deliverable work
- Strong experience developing applications primarily in PHP
- Proven client and server side development experience in a business environment
- Experience with database administration and design
- In-depth knowledge of OOP principles and experience working with MVC frameworks specifically Laravel
- Experience working with AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and continuous integration is a bonus
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD principles
- Recent and in-depth experience building REST APIs
- You are a team player that can lend ideas to a project and be vocal about potential pitfalls or opportunities
- Understanding of Scrum, Agile and CI/CD processes
