.Position Overview

• Daily mail pick up from the U.S. Post Office; weekly purchase of stamps from the U.S. Post Office; dock loading assistance; auto maintenance (i.e. oil change, wash, refuel, etc.) as needed. Clean driving record.
• Inspect the entire Courier vehicle to ensure all SDU mail is unloaded.
• Reconcile the number of trays received against the Mail Transportation Log.
• Immediately report any delivery issues.
• Mail opening, document extraction and imaging in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform Quality Check of remittance documents after imaging
• Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge of:

• Policies and procedures involved in SDU payment processing
• Child support enforcement policies related to payment processing
• Thorough working knowledge of the SMI system
• Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.

Ability to:

• Collect, research, and analyze data;

• Work independently with little direction;

• Work as a team member when required;

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;

• Meet stringent schedules and time lines;

• Plan and organize projects/tasks.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year prior experience in a mail center, document imaging. or other related field or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the work

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English

Computer Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows

Schedule:

• Early shift: Full Time hours. Shift starts @ 3:00am
• Sundays off

Hourly Payrate = $14.00/hr

Must reside in San Antonio, TX or within 1hr. drive from San Antonio, TX
