Full-Time Faculty Position in HR Management
The Ageno School of Business at Golden Gate University invites applicants for a Full-Time Faculty position in Management. Rank will be determined according to experience. Excellence in teaching is valued and teaching or training experience is required. The successful candidate must be able to undertake a variety of administrative responsibilities and play an important role in the planning and management of our MS.HRM degree program. Scholarship of relevance to both the field and professional business community is valued.

Essential Functions:
In the role of full-time faculty member at the Ageno School of Business, the jobholder is expected to:
Teach at the graduate level, in a variety of formats including in-person and online,
Advise and mentor students,
Participate in departmental, school and university governance and service, and
Maintain academic and professional qualifications and industry connections.
Additionally, in support of the MS.HRM degree program, the jobholder is expected to:
Lead course and curricula design and ongoing course and program assessment,
Oversee content and delivery of all graduate HRM courses,
Assignment of faculty for MS.HRM courses, and
Recruit, select, develop and mentor adjunct MS.HRM degree program faculty.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate (PhD/DBA) or ABD (and actively moving to completion) in Management or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to assist a diverse, adult-student population in reaching its learning objectives is of prime importance. Experience teaching both domestic and international graduate business students is preferred. Experience in teaching online and blended courses is valued.
Consistent with Golden Gates focus on professional practice education, substantial work experience in business is required. Prior management and/or administrative experience is preferred.
The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and work effectively in an unstructured environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff is critical.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position could lead to tenure should the faculty member meet the University requirements for this rank.
