Locksmith Primary job Duties:

• Installs, repairs, rebuilds, and opens mechanical and electronic locks, locking systems, door closers and locking devices.
• Prepare estimates of time, labor, and materials. Complete required reports or documentation related to work
• Operates and maintains hand and power tools and equipment of the locksmith trade. Cleans work area upon completion of project.
• Able to troubleshoot and rebuild locks, lock cylinders and lockets to include re-pinning/re-keying locks.
• Repairs, assembling, and disassembling all types of major industrial and domestic locks.
• Set up master and sub-master lock systems.
• Install and repair vertical and horizontal panic hardware.
• Install and repair mortise, unit, integer, cylinder, deadbolt, and auxiliary style locks.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner.
• Ability to work independently
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Locksmith Technician Requirements:

• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must speak and write in English. (Excellent oral and written communication skills)
• Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and or weekends.
• A Certified Locksmith Technician/ Door Installer is a plus.
